Property sales are lost quickly if a buyer do not like what they see prior to getting out of their car. If the outside of a home is not desirable it can be a quick turn off causing a buyer not to want to see more. Making the exterior of your home visually captivating goes a long way with helping you sell your property. Make sure you clean up your lawn and add some nice flowering plants. Touching up key areas such as the front door with paint, fixing cracks on your front door steps and or walkways help shoppers want to see more in oppose to causing shoppers wondering what else they will need to fix
Clean & Organize
Prepare your home to be viewed by potential buyers by ensuring your home is cleaned and items inside are well organized. This may require hiring a professional cleaning services to assist you to ensure the job is thoroughly done. Cleaning your home should include your ceiling, curtains, furniture, cabinets, and closets, would be wise considering these are places that buyers look.
After you have cleaned your home maintaining your home cleanliness can be done by vacuuming daily, waxing and or moping floors, dusting furniture, and keeping the bathrooms and kitchen spotless. Hang up fresh guest towels. Also, keep the toilet lid closed when it's not in use.
Kitchens areas are another big selling area for a lot of buyers, so keeping this area yours as clean as possible is important. Cleaning should include the inside of your cabinets, refrigerator, microwave, and oven incase someone opens the door to any of these areas they look clean and orderly.
Above all, clean and air out any musty areas. The night before a showing, avoid cooking particularly odorous foods such as fish, garlic or cabbage. These smells can linger the day after. Also, if you have pets, monitor litter boxes or any other areas affected by pets.
Remove, Replace and or Repairs
It has been seen in some seller's markets, a home in lived-in condition is sold without much complaint. However most times in normal markets or in a buyer's market, repairs can make or break a sale.
It is suggested to replace any cracked floors, broken counter tiles and patch any holes that are in the walls of your home. If you have any faucets that are leaking they should be repaired.
Don't for get to paint especially if they're currently loud colors. The best colors to have typically are neutral colors.
Remove any burned-out light bulbs and it would not be a bad idea to replace those that have been in service for a while.
Houses show better when each room is clean and bright so consider opening all blinds and turning on all of your lights.

Walk your home from from the front door and put your self in the mind of an buyer, how does each room look? Examine how the spacing of your home looks. Does your home appear to be cluttered? What should I change, adjust and is my house ready to be shown to potential buyers.
